Sent: A Study In Jonah

Talk to someone about the book of Jonah and they'll probably give you memories of a flannel graph display or some imagery of a human-swallowing fish. Dive a bit deeper and you'll see the scandalous mercy of God. Jonah, like Israel, was chosen and commissioned to be his witness but shirks that responsibility in rebellion. God confronts him with stunning compassion extended to his enemies. In this story, we are confronted with the question: how does God's mercy move you? Join us as we study Jonah and answer that question honestly, in the hopes that we might be sent in God's grace to extend the grace found in Jesus to the ends of the earth.
